depressed WHY must everything always be so goddamned DIFFICULT?!
I finally found my recovery disk for my computer yesterday so I decide to reformat my harddrive and hopefully it will fix an ongoing problem. I went to Wal-Mart today and bought some blank cds and started to burn some stuff onto cd. I checked the cd and everything was on there and in working order, so I reformat.
I go to pull the stuff off the cd and I can't get it off. Oh I can see it just fine, but if I go to double click it, my explorer locks up. I can't drag it onto my desktop, same problem. So now, I just have to stare at the shit I need and figure out a way to get it off the damn disk.
In addition to my computer woes, a friend loaned me his copy of Sims 2, so I install it and go to play it and I get an error message about some graphics adapter, which I'm assuming is Maxis' way of telling me that I have a shitty computer.
*sighs*
To make matters worse, my boss calls me and lays me off for 3 weeks.
What a shitty day this has been.
